Babylon Harrisonburg

Ordering from Babylon is always the safest bet, when busy or have family over and don’t have time to cook at home and have a fresh meal they are our go to. We have ordered multiple times now since last winter of 23 (through phone usually) and last time through online ordering. It is easy, clear and great service. Last order I needed to add humus a quick phone call and it was that easy to add to my order. Every one is so professional and nice. And the food is excellent. Freshly cooked and represented. Thank you Babylon for bringing your authentic flavor to Harrisonburg.

Absolutely love this place! We drive an hour back and forth just to eat at Babylon—that’s how good it is. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and you can truly taste the quality. The restaurant is spotless, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is incredibly polite and professional, and their customer service is top-notch every single time. You feel valued the moment you walk in. The best Mediterranean food in town. Totally recommend this spot to anyone who loves authentic, delicious, and freshly made dishes. Worth every mile!

Authentic food, nice people. Been several times and will continue to return. Can be a bit of a wait as everything is prepared once you order it. Love the chicken and beef schwarma, kebabs are great. Salad is fresh and colorful. Kids enjoy it, has a great store attached. Great addition to Harrisonburg. Pita and hummus are delicious. Flavorful and on point. I hope you enjoy!

Had such a great experience, walked in and was greeted by the nicest people who asked me if I had been and gave me recommendations. Even gave me a discount since it was my first time and baklava. I got the beef kebab and it was DELISHH, will be back :)

Super quick and extremely friendly service, I got orders for me and my friend and both were delicious!!! Super well seasoned meat and the rice was cooked perfectly. I wish I had known about this place earlier. The portions are also very generous :)

Flavorful dishes and generous portions for the price. We were greeted with a smile. Ordered the 3 person platter which was more than enough for our party of 4 (they noticed our party size and gave us an extra bread)! Tight seating inside a small store but it has a warm authentic vibe. Will return when we’re in town.

Can't say enough about this place! I was looking for an option for dinner during a trip to Harrisonburg and was immediately drawn to Babylon when I found it on Google because I love Mediterranean food. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the very friendly owner. He patiently explained the menu and answered all our questions. We went with the mixed kabob and the mixed shawarma platters. Everything was extremely flavorful, aromatic, fresh, and simply delicious. The shawarma was carved as soon as we ordered, and both dishes came with a salad from their salad bar. The owner kept checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed and showed us the Babylon special, another one of their dishes I'll definitely have to come back for. We went home with some of their baklava which was amazing! The portions were also quite generous and the prices extremely reasonable. There's indoor seating and a large selection of ethnic goods in the market area. Don't miss this hole in the wall, they are the real deal!

VERY KIND STAFF!!! I was raised eating Mediterranean food. This place is the real deal. The baklava is some of the best I’ve had. The crispy crunch is there. All of their ingredients and food is made fresh daily. You can taste how fresh the food is...very rare to come across nowadays. This place has some of the freshest ingredients you’ll have at an eatery. I was impressed. I got the lamb kebab with rice, tabouli, baba ghanoush, and fresh vegetables. All of it was great. I also had the black tea and my friend ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with everything on it. She didn’t speak to me the entire meal it was so good she said. I highly recommend this place, they also have a market inside with tons of food and drinks. The falafel was great and the fries were ok as well. Overall I’ll be coming back every time I stop in Harrisonburg.
